- One in six children die before their fifth birthday.
- Between 60-150 million kids live on the streets
- Malnutrition levels are among the highest in the world.
- Half the children in Ethiopia will never attend school; 88% will never attend secondary school
- The average income in Ethiopia is $100 a year (in US dollars). Almost 82% of the population lives on less than $1 a day.
